What is Dixons Reverse Auctions?

It's an auction with a twist, where the lowest unique bid wins, not the highest. You have to place what you think will be the lowest bid in pence that no one else will place.

The minimum you can bid is 1p up to a maximum bid of £999.99 (ie 99999 pennies). Bids have to be placed in pence as whole numbers.

Once submitted you will be told straight away (either on screen, via email or text) if your bid is unique, not unique or the lowest unique bid. As your bid status changes during the game, we will let you know via text or e-mail. Online users can also check their latest status anytime by logging in to the site.

The person who enters the lowest unique bid when the auction closes will win the auction and even better, you won’t even have to pay for it if you win!

How much does it cost to enter?

1. Bids by text cost £1.00 each plus your standard network charge.
2. Online bid entry fees vary but typically cost either 50p or £1 each (with payment via debit / credit card or pre-paid cash voucher).  Occasionally we also run free to enter auctions or promotions where the first bid is free. Please check the entry fee for each individual auction.
